Barnyard Etiquette
Siblings - to bring or not to bring that is always the question.
If you are coming to a party - please confirm with your party mom beforehand about bringing siblings. Our parties are geared towards 15 children. (and that's how many seats we have at the table). If your sibling is a baby or toddler in a stroller it is no problem.
Chickens, Rabbits and Ducks, Oh my!
We ask all parents to remind our tiny friends NOT TO CHASE THE CHICKENS, DUCKS, or RABBITS - it seems like so much fun...unless you are one of those tiny creatures! We promote kindness to all creatures great and small.
Walking feet
It is very easy to get excited in the barnyard and around the farm, and want to run around - we want to keep you safe and the animals too - so we always like to use our walking feet wherever we are on the farm.
Standing at the behind of an equine!
Animals can’t see you if you are behind them. So please stay up where they can see you.
Face space
It's important that when you are visiting with the animals, that we don't touch their eyes, ears, nose and mouth. It's also super important that you don't put your hands in YOUR eyes, ear, nose or mouth after petting the animals. Because, you know if you pet a donkey, and you put your finger in your mouth, you just licked a donkey!
Oink, Oink
Our little piggy friends love attention. But we just can't pet them. Pigs have terrible eye sight and might think your cute little fingers are pizza crust or hot dogs. So we just admire and tell them hello!
Quiet Voices
SSSSSH...help us use our quiet voices so we won’t scare any new babies.
Brushes
Remind our little friends when done brushing the animals to put their brushes back in the bucket.
Be a Good Sharer
There is time and room enough for everyone to do everything and we always like to give a friend a hug and say...you first!
We love the farm.
We love you.
And we want you to have a totally Farm-tastic Day!
