We are always looking for energetic, enthusiastic, happy people to join our team. If you love Art, Animals and Kids…and have a sense of humor—then The Art Barn may be just the place for you! We are a hard-working, loyal team with several different part-time activities to check out. All of our opportunities are “on your feet, fast-paced, joyous and on occasion a little crazy wild but…ALWAYS FUN!

We have horses, donkeys, cows, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and pigs. You will be interacting with all of the animals on some level. Being comfortable with the animals is a great start and knowing how to handle them is even better. You may find that your niche is more educational (i.e. weekday field trips) or entertaining (i.e. party hosting on the weekends).

All positions are outdoors. You will need to be comfortable working in the heat/cold and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Lastly, are you ok with scooping animal poop, wiping down porta potties and driving really old tractors? We will train you in all of the above. As long as you are good with learning, we are good with teaching. As a team, we support and encourage each other and try to set everyone up for success.

 

Weekday Mornings 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

  • Field trips, unicorn events and play dates

  • We are looking for adults/college-aged students to assist with set up, clean up and lead educational stations.

Weekends 9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

  • Birthday parties and special events

  • Our party and events are broken down into 2-hour blocks, with set up and clean up at either end of the activity. Time slots: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 1:00-3:00 p.m., 4:00-6:00 p.m.

  • ***We are looking for party hosts!***

Summer Camp

  • We host a day camp in June and July that runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for ages 5-10 years old.

  • ***We are looking for lead counselors (18+ and up) and counselors in training. The lead counselor position would be perfect for teachers looking to make extra income over the summer!***

Individuals who have been diagnosed with COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19, or had contact with a person that has or is suspected to have COVID-19 within the past fourteen (14) days and have not completed the Post-Exposure Quarantine Protocol shall not enter the farm.
